Product Overview

The M-1 Maestro is the iconic American-made upright, featuring desirable violin-style corners. This 1966 model has been a staple in the Westlake City Schools music program for decades. While it carries the legendary Kay durability, it now shows the structural wear typical of a vintage plywood instrument of this age.

Updated Condition Report

  • Body & Finish: Honest wear and patina across the body.

  • Edge Wear: Heavy scuffing and finish loss along the edges and violin corners.

  • Neck & Scroll: The neck and scroll remain intact. Hardware is original and shows expected oxidation/tarnish.

All sales are final. Public Surplus will notify buyer of receipt of payment via email.

The successful bidder will be responsible for pick-up of item(s) from the agency's premises. Pick-up must occur within ten (10) business days after notification of award. The notice of award, payment receipt, and personal identification must be presented at time of pick-up, or the item will not be released.
